Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked to help people with a variety of challenges and obstacles.
My focus as a Psychologist is to help and support you bring about change in your life, through creative strategies, the latest research, and personalized interventions directly related to your unique problem patterns. I believe that by establishing new (even small) actions we create new outcomes, and from new outcomes emerge better lives.
My practice centers on younger and older adults, adolescents, individuals, couples and family counseling and includes but not limited to clients coping with major affective (mood) disorders, psychotic disorders and healing traumatic loss and grief. In addition to working with people to overcome challenges of marital life, work, unemployment, family stress and longstanding personal obstacles, managing daily stress, anxiety, self esteem, depression, bipolar disorder, Asperger’s, and others.
I also have extensive experience working with adolescents with social/emotional difficulties and school related issues.
I am certified in Behavioral Health and have a special interest in working with individuals who suffer from chronic medical conditions. I use scientifically tested techniques to bring an end to emotional pain and increase coping skills and other helpful behaviors. I try and move clients beyond physical symptom relief and target productivity, life satisfaction, goal achievement, and improve relationships and helps clients determine what is personally meaningful to them.
In my practice, I see a diverse group of patients representing different ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations and sexual orientations who have one thing in common – they are looking to achieve change.
Why not create a better you while creating a better life?!
